I have been using OpenCV since 2004 in Inspecta S.L., located in the Computer Vision Center at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
OpenCV has substituted the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) in my company to perform all the image processing algorithms. To accomplish this, a blob extraction library, CvBlobsLib, has been developed to replace the MIL blob detection module.
