I'm a student at Virginia Tech university, USA. My main topic of research is Computer interaction through image processing.

OpenCV Mac i386 framework: http://vislab.cs.vt.edu/~vislab/wiki/index.php?title=Vision
I am currently working on various projects simultaneously which involve the detection and tracking of hand movements as well as pattern recognition in 2D or 3D space.
- Top-down tracking: My objective is to improve an existing solution aiming at using hands as a computer mouse.
MirrorTrack: New generation of Top-down tracking. My goal is to avoid occlusion and touch detection problems observed in the previous solution.
- Tangram Project: Based on new and previously studied algorithms, this project aims at estimating, tracking and reconstructing basic shapes. Moreover, the fingertips detection and tracking algorithms used in the top-down approach are implemented to allow an interaction between the users and the virtual shapes within an educational game context.
During my research, I made modifications on the OpenCV code in order to fix and improve it. I decided to create a Framework for Mac on intel processor (i386). It is available on this webpage http://vislab.cs.vt.edu/~vislab/wiki/index.php?title=Vision
